snap it {old}

how to play here

i never used to enjoy looking through 'old wares' stores when i was a little girl. it was boring to me. but since i have grown up! i am happy to spend time looking at the treasure & imagining the stories attached to each piece. my mind also races with ideas to use these collectables in my home or as photo props!

do you like shopping at 'old wares' stores?

please add your {old} snap it blog post below. next weeks topic is up close

  3. Same here Sarah. I only liked new things, ones I was the first to use. But now I like the idea of 'vintage' and maybe if I ever spot the right thing I would buy it to. They do make the neatest props!
    Lovely set!!

  4. It's funny isn't it? I used to hate being dragged to antique shops, trash and treasure stalls and the like as a kid......now guess where you can find me on most weekends ???

    Fantastic photos Sarah ! Happy Wednesday, Dee.

  5. Those old aeroplanes are just gorgeous, my Dad would love them, being an aviator and a collector from way back. Lovely photos xo

  6. I do love looking at them - but my husband won't let me buy. His mum is a bit of a collector/hoarder and he is the opposite!

  8. I love that green plane. I'm a sucker for old wares stores. Mainly just to view though. My sister and I used to always visit our local antique stores to admire the old goods when we were a lot younger too. There is a lot of charm to old wares.
    I'm really late in playing along this week (sorry!) x
